Tum door toh ho bahut mujhse

Phir bhi saath ka ehsaas toh hai

Chookar mehsoos na kiya toh kya hua

Tumhaari khusboo ka ehsaas toh hai

Is ehsaas ke sahare hi

Lamhon ko bitaye jaana hai

Nazdikiyon ki umeed mein hi

Dooriyon ko jiye jaana hai.

Floating through this stillness so deafening,

I feel an irrepressible twinge,

The night walks through me burly,

Not for a moment I could blink.

 

Reminiscences of the moments passed,

Make my eyes sad and teary,

Holding my hand you grew so much,

But now everything seems scary.

 

 

The time when I held you first,

I felt blessed with an angel so bright,

A thirst in me got quenched,

And everything else went out of sight.

 

 

You didn’t had words to explicate,

Still your meanings were implicit,

You couldn’t walk unaccompanied,

And my support was requisite.

 

 

We weaved dreams together,

Every step of you was planned,

If you had to seek me around,

Just beside you, I would always stand.

 

I gave you wings,

You flew in the sky,

But now its time,

My hopes have vanished,

I am lost and lonely,

In aankhon ke khaare paani se
main khud ko bhigoya karti thi
raat ke khamosh andheron mein
main bikhre khwaab piroya karti thi

Na thi koi aarzoo dil mein
na sapne dekha karti thi
bus yun hi tanha raahon mein
main khud ko khoja karti thi

Phir jaane kahaan se yun hi
tumne aakar thaam liya
aur pal bhar mein hi is dil ne
tumko apna maan liya

Haan kal hi toh baat hai yeh
tum ajnabi the in raahon mein
aur aaj yeh aalam hai ki
bus tum ho meri chaahon mein

Tumko paaya toh dil ne jaana
ab aur koi isko chaah nahin
haath tumhara thaama maine
rahenge ab hum saath yahin

Haan mujhko lagta hai yeh
kabhi toh kuch accha kiya hoga
tabhi mere haathon ki lakeeron mein
kisi ne tumhe likh diya hoga
